LocknLock Signs MOU with the Korea Creative Content Agency to Promote Content IP Activation

Global lifestyle products company LocknLock Co., Ltd. (CEO: Lee Young-Sang) announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) to promote the activation of content intellectual property (IP).
The signing ceremony took place on the 25th at COEX, attended by Chun Hae-Woo, Vice President of LocknLock, and Yoo Hyun-Seok, Acting President of KOCCA, among other officials. During the ceremony, the two parties discussed a range of cooperative measures aimed at activating content IP, including the productization of high-quality IP owned by small and medium-sized content companies and the expansion of related markets.
Through this partnership, LocknLock plans to develop living and household products incorporating outstanding domestic character and content IP, while leveraging its distribution network and marketing capabilities to expand market reach. The company also aims to strengthen its portfolio of character IP-based products to attract new customer segments centered around content fandoms.
In addition, the two organizations will continue to explore diverse collaboration opportunities to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized content companies, including the production of exhibition booths and promotional support at events such as the Character Licensing Fair and Content IP Market.
Following the signing ceremony, participants visited Content IP Market 2025, hosted by KOCCA, where they viewed a variety of new products utilizing the Balloon Friends IP, including the LocknLock Schoolfit Balloon Friends Tumbler and the LocknLock Balloon Friends Silicone Zipper Bag.
A KOCCA representative stated,
