LocknLock, Committed to People and the Planet, Publishes 2026 Sustainability Report

The company strengthens its ESG practices through climate action and expanded recycling initiatives

July 29, 2026 — LocknLock Co., Ltd., a global home and living company led by CEO Sang-young Kim, has published its 2026 Sustainability Report, outlining its ESG performance and priorities for the years ahead.

Guided by its commitment to people and the planet, LocknLock oversees its sustainability efforts through an ESG committee and a working group. In 2025, the company strengthened its ESG management framework, focusing on climate action, resource circularity, and supply chain management.

As part of its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, LocknLock reduced its direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) greenhouse gas emissions in 2025 by 29.5% and 41.3%, respectively, compared with its 2022 baseline. Waste generated at its manufacturing site in Vietnam also fell by 41.5% year over year.

LocknLock also expanded its resource circularity efforts. The company’s waste recycling rate rose by 7.3% year over year. Through its Love for Planet campaign, LocknLock continues to expand its circular economy initiatives by turning discarded plastic food storage containers into industrial materials and replica benches for the Jeju Olle Trail.

To keep pace with evolving global ESG standards, LocknLock conducted its first climate scenario analysis in line with international climate disclosure standards. The company assessed how climate change could affect its operations and financial performance under different scenarios and developed strategies to address those impacts. It also made sustainable raw material management a new priority, stepping up efforts to use recycled plastics and improve how it manages packaging materials.

“We plan to strengthen our ESG practices by incorporating the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, which we joined this year, across our operations,” a LocknLock spokesperson said. “We will continue to operate responsibly in line with global standards and build a sustainable business that earns the trust of our customers and the wider community.”

In 2025, LocknLock received an A rating from CDP, formerly known as the Carbon Disclosure Project, and earned a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, a global sustainability ratings provider.
