LocknLock Signs MOU with Thailand's Largest Retail Group, CP Astra
Strengthening Strategic Partnerships for Global Market Expansion
Global household goods company LocknLock Co., Ltd. (CEO: Lee Young-sang) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thailand’s largest retail group, CP Axtra, as part of its efforts to accelerate global market growth.
CP Axtra, a key retail affiliate of Thailand’s leading CP Group, operates the country’s major wholesale chain Makro and supermarket chain Lotus’s, with operations extending across Asia, including Malaysia and Vietnam.
The signing ceremony took place on the 7th at LocknLock’s headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with LocknLock CEO Lee Young-sang, Vice President Chun Hae-woo, and CP Axtra CEO Mr. Tanit in attendance. Under this agreement, LocknLock plans to introduce CP Axtra-exclusive products, expand product placement, and broaden offline retail channels in Thailand, while also leveraging CP Group’s regional presence to pursue new market opportunities across Asia.
Since entering the Thai market in 2008, LocknLock has gained recognition as a premium lifestyle brand, offering a wide range of products known for their quality, design, and functionality. Currently operating 17 stores in Thailand, the company has seen strong demand for its beverageware line, particularly the Energetic Tumbler, Metro Drive, and Metro King, which are well-suited to Thailand’s hot and humid climate. LocknLock tumblers have also secured the No.1 sales position on Shopee, the country’s leading e-commerce platform.
Kim Young-il, Head of LocknLock’s Global Business Division, stated:
“We are delighted to establish a partnership with CP Axtra, a world-class retailer, and will do our utmost to make this a successful collaboration. Building on this MOU, we will actively expand into Asian markets and further solidify our position as a leading global household goods company.”
