LocknLock Campaigns #BawaTumblerSendiri, Invites Consumers to Take Action to Protect the Earth
Global
brand that produces household supplies, LocknLock Indonesia is campaigning
#BawaTumblerSendiri.
With
this campaign, LocknLock invites consumers to care more about the environment
and participate in reducing the use of disposable plastic waste.
LocknLock
also invites consumers to switch to using environmentally friendly bottles that
can be reused.
According
to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2021, plastic waste in
Indonesia reached 66 million tons per year.
Meanwhile,
a study by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) in 2018 estimated that
around 0.26 million - 0.59 million tons of plastic flowed into the sea.
This
concern has moved LocknLock to take responsibility for tackling this problem
which will have a negative impact on global climate change.
"The
LocknLock #BawaTumblerSendiri campaign is a form of LocknLock's concern for the
environment and to participate in helping the Indonesian government in tackling
the problem of disposable plastic waste which is our shared
responsibility," said President Director of LocknLock Indonesia, Mr. Kim
II Hyeon in his statement.
Through
the #BawaTumblerSendiri campaign, LocknLock invites consumers to reduce the use
of single-use plastic bottles during daily activities and start switching to
environmentally friendly tumblers that can be reused.
Not
only echoing the #BawaTumblerSendiri campaign, but LocknLock also provides
opportunities for consumers to get new LocknLock tumblers.
